Which events are for you?
Social Club: We run two clubs for CEOs and Founders, one in London and one in the North of England in Manchester. These clubs comprise a Leadership Learning set followed by the Club Dinner and include a top Leadership speaker. These take place quarterly throughout the year.
Next Generation Leaders Club: This is for emerging talent in your organisation. These take place quarterly throughout the year and include lunch.
Breakfast Club: Meets four times a year in London and Manchester. The guest speakers are subject matter experts and talk on a wide range of topics; this is then live streamed via Webinar for our Manchester members and anyone who can’t attend in person. Pre-register to join the webinar via the Member Area.
Conference: The annual Leadership Conference brings members from all Clubs together as well as special guests.

This is aimed at entrepreneurial Social Club Members who are looking for support and inspiration as they set up new business ventures or dramatically grow their current venture. It will be of particular interest to Founders, CEOs and Directors aiming for significant business growth.

Sarah Lindsell is CEO of The Brain Tumour Charity, which was Charity of the Year in 2018. Sarah will he sharing her own leadership journey including the story of how she helped turn her charity into a winner.

Background: Since the very beginning of Social Club, Members have been asking us whether we plan to do anything for up-and-coming talent within their organisations.
As a result, we have created the Next Generation Leaders Club, one in London and one in Manchester. The respective Clubs will meet four times per year.

Guest Speaker: Thomas Lawson, CEO of Turn2us
Thomas Lawson has worked in the social sector since the early 90s in international development at UNICEF, HIV at Terrence Higgins Trust and NAM (the charity behind Aidsmap), criminal justice at Prisoners Abroad and most recently in youth work at the award-winning Leap Confronting Conflict.
Recently he has been challenging the sector to address the barriers to success in the sector for people from black, Asian and other ethnic communities. Tom has also served on the boards of the Centre for Youth Impact, Heart ‘n Soul and the National Peace Council.
He joined Turn2us in March 2019. Thomas is interested in how the social sector can work with and challenge state bodies and companies to create an inclusive society in which everyone can thrive. He is passionate about the role that people with lived expertise can play in the future of the leadership of the social sector.
